VG-40 BITUMEN
VG-40 is widely used in spraying applications such as surface-dressing and paving in very cold climate in lieu of old 80/100 Penetration grade. It is also used to manufacture Bitumen Emulsion and Modified Bitumen products.
PMB ( POLYMER MODIFIED BITUMEN )
PMB is typically made by combining bitumen with a styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) copolymer. The addition of the polymer makes the bitumen more elastomeric in nature. Some of the desirable properties of polymer modified bitumen include improved strength, cohesiveness and resistance to fatigue and deformation.
CRMB (CRUMB RUBBER MODIFIED BITUMEN)
CRMB is produced by the wet process in which bitumen heated at a temperature around 160°C to 180°C and then crumb rubber was added. Crumb rubber particles added to the plain bitumen with percentages of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% with size of 0.300mm to 0.150mm.
LDO (Light Diesel Oil)
LDO (Light Diesel Oil) is largely an industrial fuel. It acts as a key ingredient in the generation of electricity and heat in a number of production units. It has been used since a long time for such purposes and has gained much importance and inevitable value.
FO ( FURNACE OIL )
It is a very rough indication of the lowest temperature at which Furnace Oil is readily pump able. In the specification the pour point of Furnace oil is not stipulated. However, for Furnace oil manufactured indigenously and for imported parcels.
